Das französisch impro-jazz Kollektiv Rude Awakening Présente... im ausland

Das Label “Rude Awakening” hat seinen Sitz in Montpellier (Frankreich).
Es vereint Musiker verschiedener Nationalitäten (Kanada, USA, Dänemark, Frankreich etc.) und verschiedener Musikrichtungen (Jazz, Free-Rock, Minimal, Konkrete Musik).
Die Grundlage der meisten Projekte ist die improvisierte Musik.

Wir bieten ebenfalls ein Projekt namens Microscope an, das den freien Download aktueller Musik unterstützt.

Rude Awakening Presente is a musical collective and record label based in Montpellier, comprised of over 20 musicians from various cities in France, Denmark, Canada and the USA. The projects are broad ranging, from Jazz, Free-Rock, Minimal, Konkrete Musik but the base of most of the project is improvised music.

Rude Awakening website offers free audio and video downloads such as “Microscope,” an excellent collection of improvised music and contemporary jazz, available both as limited edition CDR and as a free MP3 (www.rude-awakening.org/microscope)
